Awenyx Smart Semiconductor Device Designer tool performs a complete 3D semiconductor device design for integrated circuit components and others applications.

The device design is performed using Awenyx proprietary AI ArchimedesTM platform. The Smart Semiconductor Device Designer interfaces with 3D and 2D Physical and Electric Field solvers (like TCAD from Synopsys). A Semiconductor Device can be designed entirely from scratch without human intervention in record time.

Several device electrical objective parameters can be set in various conditions. The Smart Device Designer learns autonomously how to change the topological aspects of the physical parts of the device (materials, doping levels, electrical inputs etc.) while shaping the Electric Field so as to meet the multiple objectives set by the designer.

The experience acquired by the tool to design a device with a specification, can be re-used and transferred to a completely different device with a different specification (using Knowledge Injection Awenyx proprietary technology) to speed up the device design up to more than 100X.

The Smart Device Designer can run on GPU and/or CPUs and supports the utilization of multiple TCAD licenses to parallelize and shorten the design cycle.

It is important to note that the whole design is done completely autonomously. Once the tool is set up with the objective desired parameters, the human designer can monitor the design status, but it can trust the AI tool to carry out the whole design. When the design is completed the resulting device physical properties and final target parameters can be directly viewed in TCAD or in the desired 3D-FEM tool of choice.
